February 2024 - Love Yourself, Invest in Yourself

      It is the second month of 2024! What have you decided to do differently this year? Maybe start a new career? New years are great for inspiring us to do something new and motivating us to reinvent ourselves. 

So what have you decided to invest in this year? Have you thought of a career in the beauty industry? The PMU industry is growing rapidly each year and more and more people are able to enjoy their life because of the flexibility this industry offers. The great thing about becoming a PMU artist is being able to charge for a service instead of being paid by the hour. Making a couple of hundred dollars in an hour versus making the same amount of money working the full day.

Freedom and time has become the new currency. More and more people are looking for career paths where they can grow professionally and still have the time they need for their personal lives. The time for their family, friends, social life, and simply themselves.

Career changes can be difficult and starting over at a new job can be hard to do, but you have to think of the reward at the end, once you let go of what's been holding you back. It’s 2024, we can all agree that life has become more expensive and the lack of time has become the new normal for everyone. Life does not always reward the 9-5 grind. Working at that corporate job for many years and never receiving the raise that you deserved or when your requested PTO days are not approved for that vacation you planned, can demotivate you. Whatever your situation has been, we all can agree that a career with more flexibility would be best for our mental health. 

This year, take the time to really look at what it is you truly enjoy. Remember time waits for no one. What do you love to do? Choose something with an emphasis on enjoyment and do it.
