This technique gives your top lashes a backdrop and makes them look fuller, while outlining and framing your eye. It gives a very natural look that always compliments and completes any eye makeup, or even more so when you have no makeup at all.

This eyeliner sits directly on the top lash line and blends into your lashes. Eyelash Enhancement does not damage your lashes. If you are using latisse or any other lash growth treatments you must pause product use one month before and after your procedure. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately two hours and there is no “down time”. A touch up is required 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. After that touch ups are determined on an individual basis.

Please note: For the first 4-5 days, eyes may be slightly swollen, appear uneven, and may be sensitive to the touch.

• Do not work out the day of the procedure.
• Do not tan or have sunburned face.
• Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil or Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
• No alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure.
• Eyelash extensions they must be removed two days prior to your intended procedure.

1st Day

• Do not touch the eyes. Before bed you can ice the eyes by applying it over a clean cloth.
• Do not apply ice directly on skin.
• Do not wash the eyes, try to keep them dry.
• If the eyes are swollen or you feel any discomfort you may take Tylenol

2nd Day

The eyes may be swollen the next day after the procedure, it is a normal reaction, some clients swell more than others. The swelling should start going down during this day and the eyes should be looking better by the end of the second day.

During the 1st Week

Everyone’s skin has its own healing process and duration. It is recommended to apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor Healing Ointment (you can find it in any grocery store in the kids section), do not apply too much to avoid adverse reactions. Wash your hands before applying ointment.

• Do not use makeup, cosmetic products or any cream in the area (except for the healing cream).
• No Sauna, pool, Beach, sunbathing.
• Avoid facial treatment that involves Massage and steaming.
• Avoid touching the treated area.
• DO NOT apply anything besides Aquaphor such as Vaseline, antibiotic creams, Neosporin, etc.
• Avoid drinking liquor.
• Avoid excessive sweating.
• Avoid smoking as this alters the color of the pigment.

Between the 3rd and 10th day

The color will get lighter (sometimes will look completely gone) and then it will reappear, gaining intensification gradually.

Touch up is best to be done 6 weeks later.

Permanent makeup is NOT recommended for any clients who have the following below:

• Pregnant or nursing
• Diabetic
• Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
• Viral infections and/or diseases
• Epilepsy
• Pacemaker or major heart problems
• Organ transplant
• Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
• Sick (cold, flu, etc.)
• Botox in the past 2 weeks

Day 1

• Oily skin cleans the skin every 30 min for the first 3 hours (total 6 times) after the procedure using a damp cotton (using clean bottled water) and washing hands before each cleaning time.
• Dry Skin cleans every hour for the first 3 hours (total of 3 times) after the procedure using a damp cotton (using clean bottled water) and washing hands before each cleaning time.
• Right after the LAST wipe apply a thin layer of the healing ointment (Aquaphor, Vaseline, or Coconut oil).
• Oily Skin wash before going to bed using lukewarm water very gently removing the lymph, pat dry and apply a thin layer of ointment.
• Dry Skin may not wash if the skin does not have visible lymph on top of the skin, just make sure your skin is moist before bed by applying a thin layer of ointment.

Day 2

If you still see lymph in the morning, wash one more time, pat dry and apply a thin layer of ointment. If no lymph then just keep your eyebrows hydrated with ointment as needed, means apply ointment only when you feel the skin is dry.

During the First 10 Days

• Everyone’s skin has its own healing process and duration. It is recommended to apply ointment as long as the skin is still scabbed and even after. The ointment will help your skin regenerate faster and better.
• Do not use makeup, cosmetic products or any cream in the area (except for the healing cream).
• No Sauna, pool, Beach, sunbathing.
• Avoid facial treatment that involves Massage and steaming.
• Avoid touching the treated area, it is normal feeling itchy, do not SCRATCH at all.
• DO NOT PEEL the scabs at all, you may cause scarring if otherwise.
• Avoid drinking liquor.
• Avoid excessive sweating.
• Avoid smoking as this alters the color of the pigment.

During the First 4 Weeks

• Avoid Exposure to sunlight or tanning salons.
• Avoid chemical peelings, microdermabrasion, creams that contain acids or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the skin.

Always avoid Laser treatments over the treated area (Fraxel, Laser, IPL) because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
